Construction Control

Terms

These terms cover the Construction Control Subcontractor Pay App Bridge workbook sold on this site: what you are buying, what you may do with the files, and what the workbook does not do.

Terms version 1.0 — effective October 23, 2026.

The product

The product is a set of three files sold for $39, one time: an Excel workbook (.xlsx), a Quickstart Guide (PDF), and a README. There is no subscription, no per-user fee, and no recurring charge. The product is sold and delivered through Payhip: checkout happens on the Payhip product page, and after purchase you download the files from your Payhip receipt.

License — what you may do with the files

You may use the workbook and the other files within your own business — including by the people in your company who prepare its billing — and you may keep backup copies for your own use. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share the files, and you may not include them in a product or service offered to others.

What the workbook is — and is not

The Pay App Bridge is a worksheet for use alongside your AIA G702/G703. It does not replace those forms, and it does not file or submit anything. It reconciles the records you enter — T&M tickets, change-order requests, and the schedule of values — and flags mismatches for your review. Deciding what to bill, and submitting the pay application, remain your responsibility.

Limitations

The homepage prints the workbook's limitations in full. The main ones:

  • Desktop Excel is recommended. The workbook is an Excel file; other spreadsheet apps are not the environment it was built for.
  • Column D is typed manually. You enter that column of the schedule of values yourself, as you do on the form.
  • Unapproved change orders are checked, not billed. Pending change-order requests are checked for discrepancies, but the workbook does not automatically include unapproved change orders in pay-app billing or determine whether they are eligible for payment.
  • A flag is not a fix. A row in the Exception Report is a prompt to review a record; resolving it is your judgment and your records.

Purchase, delivery, and help with your files

Purchase and delivery are handled by Payhip. If the price at checkout ever differs from the price shown on this site, the checkout price governs. If you have trouble receiving, downloading, or opening your files, contact us through the Payhip contact page or at constructioncontrolbilling@gmail.com and we will help you get it working.

Refunds — digital goods

Workbook sales are final. The Construction Control workbook is a digital file you keep, and no refunds are offered. A free Pay App Pre-Submission Checklist and sample materials are available before purchase so you can evaluate the product first. This policy does not change the separate terms of the One-Time Pay-App Audit service, which are stated where that service is offered.
